I recall that being a senior year thing but I think it happened again after we all left. I have a picture somewhere of me standing in front of the chaos, smiling like I might as well have been at a cousin’s wedding, with a mounted cop prancing around behind me. Later that week I purchased a T-shirt with cartoon riot police on it that said “I survived the Court Street Scuffle.” I don’t have that anymore but I probably wore it to graduation.
Joe, no need to include me in the story, but I remember time change "riots" happening in 1994 and 1995, too. I'll look for any Post or A-News coverage in my "archives." Coincidentally, I was at an event this week talking to someone my age who went to Rippon College in Wisconsin and when I said I went to OU his response was, "Oh that party school with the riots. Not as bad as WVU tho."

Ha. It happened through 2003. Then it stopped.

I checked The Post archives -- no mention in 94 or 95. I can't find a record of this happening before 1997.
